just to let you know, i've seen 18's for sale w/tires for $700.
IMO, $950 is a bit too much. It may be helpful for you to look and see what others are asking.

 

yeah but they are old these have less than 2k miles on them and less than 2 months old. The vinyl covers on the centercaps just came off like 3 weeks ago.

And i havent seen any of them with decent tires or road hazard coverage. I paid over 1100 for everything. I need money but I'd rather let them stay than lose almost 50%

If they were a couple years old and had 15k miles on the tires Id let them go for that price too.

And the tires will be crappy kuhmos or something similiar.

I got these particular tires for more than looks I wanted grip since i planned to autocross eventually.Not quite Azenis(which are basically treadware rated race tires) But better wet handling. IMO But after my dog got sick and I had to put him down money got tight. Just hasnt got bad enough yet to go that far.

If you look at subarustore.com, new battles for $550. Azenis can be found for under $100 a peice, or even ST-115's for $89 a peice. Thats $910 for brand new battles and tires.

 

yeah but that still not including mounting/balancing and road hazard insurance.

Guess i may just have to wait a while.

Though Azenis for 98 is nice I paid over a 100 for my Gr betas shipped like around 120 each I believe. And subydude doesnt carry battles anymore. If they do they aint on his page.

I might drop the price to 800 in a few weeks gotta see how finances go. Hate to lose over 300 bucks in less than 2 months

 

I feel ya, but that's the depreciation factor coming into play. Usually people take into consideration the parts only, without paying much attention to road hazard services. Thus, you'd have the best luck pricing them according to the LOWEST new price out right now minus the depreciation factor and not including warranty. Just my $0.02 and my accounting/asset management background coming into play.

oh yeah , depre sucks, just liekbrand new car, as soon as you drive it off the lot it goes down. Since these are basically brand new same concept applies.

Oh well.

if it came down to it id probably take 1050 shipped. that still save a bit and get way better tires and service. Maybe I might be able ot put up an Xmas tree.

 

how do u like those falken betas? Im getttin tires in a few days and can't decide btwn the betas and the ST-115's.

 

I love em, I hade the ziex 502's and then the 512's on my old eclipse.

These things are great. Nice handling and stick well. Dont even chirp. I want to autox with them if I dont get rid of em see hwo they do.

Not quite Azenis but the wet traction is way better.

 

thanx for the info, I haven't been able to find reviews on those anywhere. Would you say the betas have significantly more grip than the ziex 512's?
