I just switched trunks with an STI this morning, the whole process was pretty easy. We didn't swictch the springs that lift the trunk, so mine is a little tougher to open but still stays up on its own. I didn't stick around to see how his is now, but I bet it shoots up real quick. It took us about an hour going real slow, could be done easily in 30 minutes or less. And now I have an STI wing for free :D
