No I came all the way down to so OC and my family is abandoning me at Christmas. One brother is at his wifes families house, the other is going to hawaii or new york I cant remember which with his family my parents are nowhere to be found, and my sister is MIA too. I might be able to meet up with the brother going to Hawaii wednesday before they fly out. I have no toys I didnt get none and my alter ego is an alcaholic.

But the good news is I may be around San Jose for a day this weekend.

Let's see last night it was Outferno, Dropkick, nocargirl, then SubyDon showed up.

What went on:
After having coffee and talking for a bit, Charlie got the itchin' for some Initial D so we headed over to the Golfland Milpitas. After Charlie kept losing we decided to go for a drive. We did a drive out from Calaveras all the way to where it hits 680 and drove back. Dropkick's brakes are going to need some attention as he kept experiencing fade. After the drive we ate a little late night snack and then headed home.

after looking at a map this morning, and then driving over Hamilton, down San Antonio and out Mines road this afternoon, i kinda figured out what we did wrong last night too. Mines and Calaveras are only connected by a road, they never actually meet. that said, San Antonio and Mines are the business.

Ummmm, it isn't all that far....and no one can complain about far when Rockin drives all the way from Santa Cruz to come to this meet and BDG....others I don't know....I don't think Charlie should have to bend over to get people to come out.

If u have to make phone calls for people to come out it seems like its a meet not worth keeping. Just my opinion though....another thing is that there are so many meets in the bay area that its hard for new meets to go down..plus isn't there another meet in san jose on thursday nights??

I agree with Zoeb on this one Porkferno. I have never had to call people to go to a meet that I host except for the initial invite, be it for Hondas (when I used to have one) or Subaru. I agree with the fact that if you have to constantly call people to join you, that they really don't care about your meet. You might as well just give up and go to a meet that people enjoy hanging out at.

First off...like I think it was Aaron that said....UCKK didnt have 50 ppl when it was a new meet....

Secondly....I cant tell you how many nights I have spent at BDG by myself chillin....talking to myself, eating spicy chicken sammiches, and flirting with the cutie lil asian girl that owns BDG :D But hey, who ever said life got any easier?

Thirdly.....like Seraph and a few others have said.....Friday nights are a tough night in general to have a meet, especially since that is normally when ppl are out partying after a tough week or leaving for the weekend....thats exactly the reason I opted NOT to have BDG on Friday nights....because I KNEW that would happen. Plus you cant expect everyone to be there EVERY friday night.....seriously....things come up, plans get changed, and ppl get busy....so what might be a slow week this week may be a huge meet next week, you never know, it just depends on what ppl have going on. You cant get upset because people have lives of their own.

Besides, it doesnt help that the last few times I have been to IAG we were either told by the staff, or security that we couldn't hang out there. So really, what do you expect when we are getting told we have to leave?

no one (ahem - Charlie) should feel bad about it, you STILL have your friends, we are here for you if you need anything. Sometimes things just dont work out the way you had expected.....welcome to the "real world."

BTW Charlie....I have gone to your work just about every day for the past 3 days....(had to buy a printer today) and every time I go there, I look for you, but you are never there....are you SURE you really work there? :confused: ;) j/k Well dude....its not the end of the world...just a minor bump in the road....all is well...no hard feelings.

charlie, me, dan, don, dominique and ted showed. we left kinda early and went to carrow's. thenwe got charlie to drive hammy!! (major props to charlie) you guys all missed it. dan led, and i dont think he used his breaks the entire time. lol.l after our drive which was cold as usual, we went to don's for some beers... and... after that, some of us left, charlie and dominique stayed. god only knows what went on after that. we'll find out more later, i guess.

Lots went on! As in me beating Charlie with the stuffed octopus and Don taking it away because it was highly obnoxious and then watching invader zim!!! Awesomeness...and for the record if Charlie closes this meet it's his choice not everyone elses because obviously not many people contribute to it so there should be no damn complaining on whether or not it's closed.
