anyone know where I can get a real subaru genome style grill? I bought a replica and its cheap as hell.. chicken wire grill :rolleyes: I'm not puttin this crap on my car :(

yea, but trust me you dont want that grill.. the picture is misleading. the actual grill mesh is made out'v cheap ass chicken wire snipped at the edges.. yech

I had one of those on my car, I wasn't a big fan to say the least. I traded someone for their stock grill. I am very happy now.

oh yea, that grill isn't actually $35.. they reem you on shipping. I think it ended up being over $60 grand total shipped.

any replica peice of plastic is going to be of a lesser quality than oem peices. if you want a perfect grill, stick with big name brands and oem.

I have the genome replica, and its exactly what you should expect when getting a replica. What did you expect instead of chicken wire? plastic honeycomb like the stock one?

I had this one off Ebay and it looked fine. I had to trim the wire a little to make it fit better and I used Zip ties to tie it down but other than that it was fine. If would look fine if you paint it. and what do you expect for $35.
