View Full Version : so this is the new i-club
capt'n'caveman 11-22-2002, 08:42 AM so this is the new club.....kinda funny, i see more name from the original club then new members, oh god that was confusing, oh well, it's early, so i don't have to make sense.
so is this going to turn into two faction, the nick v. alex faction?
i vote for an annual battle royal between i-club and nasioc.
ding ding ding
trhoppe 11-22-2002, 08:54 AM I just think this the whole situation is bull****. This just makes it harder for everyone to get information about our cars.
Kiss and make up and merge the two together so we have 1 site.
I know I will be taking down the i-club.com sticker off my car and replacing it with impreza-club.com

capt'n'caveman 11-22-2002, 09:23 AM yeah, it sux what happened, i joined a car enthusiast message board and got a soap opera instead. it did make for some interesting reading though.....i think we just sometime forget that there are actual people behind these screens....oh well, the sun is going to come up tomorrow, the world is going to continue to spin into oblivion, time is going move on, etc etc...
although, the one good thing is that, i'm no longer member # 10,000 something......woooo hooo, i'm actucally in the hundreds, hehe
i agree that all this stuff sucks, but personally i like this site better.
i like that there is fewer people and you don't get lost in it all (yet)
the atmosphere is a lot different here as well, its a lot more laid back.

no its i-club v.2
trhoppe 11-22-2002, 10:44 AM This place hopefully will develop into a off-topic board.
That was when people want stuff with cars and real help or information, they go to nasioc.com
When they want crap and off-topic stuff, they hit this site.

I hope not, the OT is the worst part of the other board. Go over there to clog things up with 300 + people BS's about nothing.
scoobiesnacks 11-22-2002, 12:33 PM Thats why it is OT ;)

Mindspark 11-22-2002, 02:57 PM It's nice here. Kick back, have a couple beers and post kinda feeling. The other place had alot of good technical info but around 80% of it was the same bull**** over and over again.
imho the only good stuff over there was the motorsports forum and the regionals before the mods went all nutty.
capt'n'caveman 11-22-2002, 03:38 PM yeah, it's way too regulated over there.......kinda boring, but good source for info....we'll see how this place turns out
and if i'm not mistaken....but you can use bad words on this forum?
Imprezer 11-22-2002, 03:50 PM You can, but I really don't want you or anyone esle to use them.
Please?
- Alex
I personaly no longer care if the two sites merdge again. I know most of what I will need and I was getting real sick of the censorship on the old I-Club.
MGXsport 11-22-2002, 05:04 PM The rules are better over here
scoobiesnacks 11-22-2002, 05:10 PM Personally I think curse words should be ok as long as you dont use them in every sentence in every one of your posts or in anyway to offend anyone else in this furum.

Unfortunately many people will cross the line if given the opportunity.... Although initially it is attractive to have less rules and more freedom, but in the long run I fear it will lead to disrespectful responses as being common place. It would be nice if their could be some kind of " i -Club code of civility " determined by Imprezer and the i-Club members together. I think member participation may help to encourage and propagate good will and self control. I have no problem with foul langauge either as long as it is not directed at any specific individual, regardless of the situation.
Tom..
AWDCulture 11-22-2002, 05:56 PM I don't care if the other site has better info, I have personally meet Alex and I think he's a good guy.... as for Nick I think he is to much of a buisness man.
Nick took away my friend mod satus so he could keep leaks for getting out, what is www.nasioc.com the CIA:monkey:
