Have you tried to pull the wiper arm and all you get is wiper movement, no washer fluid? Apparantly this is the way it works on an XT??? If so, why say "Pull to mist"?

EZ Rider 10-25-2003, 01:31 AM :D Nice qship. 2many - That's the same on all current Sube's. 2manycarz 10-25-2003, 09:51 AM I posted this simply as an FYI for those of us who first try to wash some dust and dirt off of the windshield the first time and simply get scratches. One of the things I have always appreciated in most european cars is the standardization of most control functions (iDRIVE aside!). Usually, I don't have to read an owner's manual to operate the windshield wipers correctly and after owning something in excess of 250 cars, I still get an occasional surprise. Meanwhile, the XT continues to be a fine little sleeper, and from the reviews from Google, the Aussies, South Aftricans, and Brits would seem to agree. 2 |
