Been an avid Alfa fan since I was 6 (1976), grew up with 'em, as my Dad was an Alfa fan all his life....we had 1957 Giulietta, 1969 Gulia Super, 1974 2000GTV, 1977 and 1978 Sprint Veloces. In high school during the 80's I was dying for my own (GTV6 would've been my choice, esp. the old Callaway twin turbo version!), but ended up with a '67 Beetle instead that I eventually played with until I got 213hp at the flywheel...but I still want an Alfa badly.....a 1750 GTV from about 1970 or so would make me happy. The new Competizione coupe is the best looking Alfa to come out since the old Tipo 33 Stradale from 1967 (a 9000rpm 2.0 liter V8 street car!). I hear that new coupe will use the basic Maserati V8, but with Alfa's own head and make the car an 190mph car. Please let me fall into unlimited wealth!!!
