Forced Air Tech kit
AVO turbo kit
Of the two, I would recommend the AVO kit. It has better engine management and a larger turbo which works better for what I will be doing with my car. The F.A.T. kit is quite complete, but gives up a lot of top end for tons of midrange.

the main concern for a impreza turbo kit should be it's engine managment. the avo kit comes with a link and the fat kit doesen't. so I think the avo is the best choice.

A turbo that basically has two spinning turbines... So that one can spin for lower rpms and another for higher rpms. Its more complicated than that, but the JDM STI, and new Legacy Turbo engines overseas have it, and I think some Evo's have them too.

The Legacy turbo is a VF37, IIRC, is made of titanium and is twin scroll. If I had a 2 liter engine, I would be highly interested in it since somebody recently was selling htem for $1000. Good stuff.

twin scroll isnt a dual turbine. it is a turbo that has a special turbine housing. the exhaust is split into 2 paths by the housing. 1 path blows on the turbine wheel in the usual place. the other blows on the wheel on the direct opposite side from the first. it decreases the load on the spindle for faster spool and durability due to less drag. also, the exhaust pulses go from one side to the other, further increasing spool up. its crazy technology
