Difficulty of Turbo'ing a 2.2L 1997 Impreza
I'm new to the Subaru scene but I've read about the newer WRX's and I have 1997 Impreza 2.2. I was wondering if you guys could give me some insight as to where to get parts and also how hard this would be to do. I've got uncles that are master mechanics so install won't be hard, just wondering where to get an turbo header and such. Thanks and LMK

from what I hear you'd be best off buying a kit rather than building it yourself. Saves tons of headaches

What kit should I buy? The way that I understand it, the 2.2 liter has the 2.0 head on it? Is that correct?

That is incorrect. Where'd you hear that? The 2L has a different bore then the 2.2. The quench area in the head has to be larger to match.
