I just installed the Godspeed downpipe last Friday. I chose this downpipe because all the feedback I read said that this dp does not cause any CEL's.

It cost $399. Although it is still early, so far no CEL and it was definately a worthwhile upgrade.

Any downpipe that has a high-flow catalytic converter and an 02 sensor port should not throw a CEL. I would not recommend getting the STi downpipe due to its horrible flange design and small piping. That part was clearly designed by Subaru to be inexpensive to manufacture rather than be conducive to horsepower.

go aps if you can afford it, god speed is good. b&B is a great inexpensive piece, helix/turboxs are ok if you do not plan on going over say 350 hp. due to the rumors of interferance fromt the wastegate

Ok, if you are looking for a downpipe which eliminates the cat and uses no cat of it's own, the godspeed dp is known to not cause any CEL's.

Any input on the Invidia DP for use on the STi.

I only ask because I purchased one for my WRX and when I got to the Subaru dealer to get a new DP gasket before I installed it, I left with an STi LOL.

I currently have an HKS cat back on the STi(also from WRX), and am hesitating in completing the TBE with the DP.

Shopping for STi downpipes is pretty much the same as WRX downpipes. The STi DP isn't really any better.
