It's about time I introduced myself...

Alright, I've been lurking this forum long enough. I've posted here and there and I bet most of you have been wondering why some guy in Washington bothers to post in the Hawaii forum. Well, I am originally from Hawaii. Grad from MPI in 95 then grad from UW 00 and 02. I've 'always' been a Honda guy and had my fair share of SiR, GS-R, and ITR swapped cars. I always wanted a WRX but it wasn't until the STi became available did I give in. I haven't paid attention to this forum until I got my STi and it is good to know that there is a strong following in the islands much like here in the Pacific NW. The reason why I decided to post is because I will be returning within a year.

I've been watching the auto-x posts and one of the first things I plan to do when I get back is race my STi with you guys. The auto-x's I go to usually have 1, sometimes 2 STi's including myself. I would also like to go to lapping events. Does anyone have any info on them? I was told that there is one once or twice a month at HRP.

I figured that I might as well give you something to watch since I bored you with my introduction. Here is a link to a lap around Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. That was the first time with the STi there and it was a blast.

Lap in STi

And here is a pic of my STi

Is it any better since they did some work on it or was the work only on the bathrooms and snack bar and things like that. I used to live in Tacoma and plan to go back someday and buy a house beautiful place to live...

yeah, their names sound familiar. Gerard Ebata? I know his sister, Lisa. She dated my friend for a while. I remember a long time ago her ex-boyfriend kidnapped her or something at knife point. I think he went to jail.

Ebata Case (Whoa!)

Welcome. Im from Seattle originally and lived all over the PNW. Loved it there. Just too much rain and not enough warm ocean to swim in...

Seattle is cool. Nice weather for two months out of the year. I lived there for 4 years in Sea-tac and Burien/Renton area (kind of ghetto). I had to move back to the islands, too much rain.

Cool, I worked in Madison Park at a landscape architectural office located under the book store. Very nice area, lots of yuppie moms driving in Range Rovers.
