Can anyone give me any idea where I can buy decent molded mud flaps for a 04' WRX Wagon? The dealership said that they do not carry them for the Sport Wagon!! Any ideas?

I can't help you with decent and molded..see STI at 300.00 a set. But I made some that work great for 20.00. I got large rectangular pickup truck mudflaps, cut them to fit under the wheel wells and a bit up the side (scoobymods has a template, although I just eyeballed it). I then popped out the wheel well liner plastic anchors, went to NAPA and found slightly longer ones, and installed the flap over the liner by cutting bolt holes in the flap to line up with the fender liner anchor bolts. I did not bolt the flap on as I wanted the flap to pull loose without pulling the fender off if something (like a branch) caught on it. These have worked great for a year. They look good, they can be any height off of the ground, can extend as far out from the wheel well as you want, and for the price you can put on a new set with a new decal each week. You could even make a winter set (long and stick way out to protect paint) and a summer set (tucked underneath) John

Ps don't replace the anchors with bolts, if you come down hard on your front fenders you could do a lot of damage to the fender. As it is, the anchors and fender liner will tear 1st and your fender will flex before damage occurs to your fender..it least in my experiences

John,
Thanks for the reply. I found it hard to believe that Subaru does not make a mud flap for the WRX Wagon but they do make them for all the other models...go figure.

Anybody else have any suggestions on where to get mud flaps for the 04' WRX Wagon?

THx

They've got them for 02 and 03, but I haven't looked for 04.
