how do i remove the rear seats in a MY00 2.5 RS, sedan?

There are two 12mm bolts, located under the bottom cushion, holding it on. Once that is out, there are three 12mm bolts holding the back cushion on.

Its very easy. I have my whole rear section gutted. Took me around 20 minutes to removed everything. The stupid Clips are a biatch though.

BTW: this was in my WRX
