what size magnaflow i should order? for 1996 impreza 4door sedan 2.2L

i am trying to get magnaflow muffler , can anyone tell me what size i should get????? stock number or something. i was thinking 14615 from

14225 or 14325. I have a 14225 on my RS. 2.25" is probably the best size for your motor.

Car Info: 1998 Subaru Impreza L 2.2

2.25" inlet offset to the middle of the car is ideal. My inlet is in the center and the exhaust man had some trouble making the bend around the rear diff., swaybar, and to the muffler. Anyway, I have the M-14815, IIRC. It has a center 2.25" inlet with dual 3" double walled tips. Absolutely beautiful and looks like it was original equipment. Either way you go, Magnaflow makes a great muffler.

check the size of the pipe coming into your muffler. my 95 impreza 2.2L has an 1 3/4 exhaust system on it.

An RS also comes with 1.75" exhaust. It's just too small.

oh i got 14840 installed today..... too loud......... i will keep ear on it for like 2 weeks. : )

ps.: anyone have stock oem muffler for cheap price or free?
