What company makes the 16" 5 spoke rims for WRX's? Not Subaru? Has anyone see similar looking rims by other manufacturers? If so where do I buy OEM replacement rims that dont cost $320 each from my local Subaru dealer?

I think Tire Rack sells factory WRX rims with new tires of your choice. Those wheels are take-offs from folks who upgraded to aftermarket rims and tires. Look for the Tire Rack ads in many car magazines like Road & Track, Car & Driver, Sport Compact Car, etc.

I see members selling them (usually with stock tires still on them) for $250-$350 a set. I bought a second set for $250 which are now on my car shod with Nokian NRW tires.

If you need a new wheel, why not just buy a set of Rota's?

I believe Rota used to make Subaru OEM wheels quite a few years ago. Enkei makes the current Subaru OEM rims.

Rota is made in Taiwan. At least on certain cast wheels. I don't think they were Subaru OEM.

I checked 99RS stock wheels and it is stamped [ASAHI TEC] [made in Japan]

so Asahi tec is the manufacture for the 99RS rim.

check the for sale forum from different site. you should be able to pick up a set from $200-$300 with tires maybe... good luck
