Has anyone ever had any problems with relying on the subaru factory roof racks? I am about to buy attachments for both a kayak and bicycle and i want to know if it will hold up before I go ahead. Thanks, I realize it doesn't fit the most recent trends of posts, excuse me

Wondering if you got your rack accessories, if you are happy with them, and where you found them. I am looking for a bike attachment, ski attachment, and canoe attachment to put on my factory roof rack. Seems most of the attachments are set up for a square beam from yakima and thule.

Scroll down to the bottom. I have the trailer hitch, Flat Cross Bar Kit, Bike Attachment And Clamps - Roof Mounted & Roof Cargo Basket And Brackets.

My only gripe is that the crossbars have no facility for locking them to the rack. They use a torx style screw on each side for clamping. The crossbars come with a torx screwdriver.
