Does anyone have this in thier car? If so do you like it and is it worth it? I was thinking about having this done so I can run a camp system. Let me know what you guys think about this setup.
Dick Fitzwell 12-07-2002, 07:15 AM that setup is pretty sweet, i remember a guy a while back talking about getting a screen for his car and several people where interested as he could get them for a good price....maybe the same guy? i have thought about doing a similar setup for a while and haven't ruled the idea out yet....looks good!:)
Zoeb2s 12-07-2002, 01:13 PM That thing is sweet, i am gonna try to do that up!

www.scsot.com 12-25-2002, 07:14 PM Hi Everyone,
I can be reached at cableplex@hotmail.com
I'm in the process of fullfilling 4 orders at the moment, but
please be aware due to Christmas and New years, there
will be a slight delay, not from me but my parts suppliers.
The radio is mounted in a Subaru Factory Gauge pod. The
radio bolts right in... a very easy install.

Thanks!
Matt
P.S. My friend eric m. is selling his screen, he unfortunately
needs to sell his screen to pay bills. I believe he wants
$300 plus shipping. You can PM him here or on nasioc.
It's in perfect condition and just a couple of months old.
02GatorWRX 12-25-2002, 07:40 PM Can you post a picture of the back of the bezel with the lcd mounted? I am very interested in getting this for my WRX.. Thanks.

WRXSTIle 12-27-2002, 11:07 AM What is the average price to complete the setup and how hard is the instalation once it comes back. That setup looks real sweet it is in a few cars on the gallery page.
With out giving out your trade secrets do you have a list of what all needs to be doone to complete this process.
www.scsot.com 12-27-2002, 11:12 AM Hi,
Along with the screen you'll need the factory gauge pod ($70)
and also a DVD receiver or a CD player with aux audio
input and a portable DVD player.
After the LCD panel is installed in the bezel, all you need
to do is power it up to a on/off switch, and hook up the video
connector (RCA Input). The bezel pops in like stock.
Regards,
Matt
bringndefinitio 12-29-2002, 11:50 PM I will paypal you $300 for your friend ERIC's item to be shipped to my house ok?? BUt I have one more question, Is the input an rca??? I want to directly connect a ps2 to the screen. I have a deck but it doesn't play dvd/s so I'm going to use the screen as a stand alone with my ps2 but can I do it like this? or do I need to buy anything to convert the signal??? Last question, do I need to cut anything to make the bezel fit, or is it just a straight snap on snap offf???
www.scsot.com 12-29-2002, 11:52 PM .
What's the max resolution of that screen? I have my laptop in a dock under the seat with a gps nav system. Keybord and trackpad in front... all I need is a monitor... Will I be able to read street names??? This is all experimental and getting pretty pricey... Give me all the input you've got everyone.
Thanks,
Ash

baudbrn 01-26-2003, 10:41 PM Hey www.scsot.com,
What kind of turbo timer is that in your dash? I haven't yet seen that one, and I might be interested in picking one up. Can you let me know what brand it is or where I could pick one up? Thanks man.
Baudburn
420wrx 01-27-2003, 02:13 PM Yeah that timer is sweet..
I guess it's too much to ask, but any chance there's lots of room for a tilt interface to allow viewing angle adjustments?
