So I was driving home from work yesterday and saw my first STi on the highway!!! NICE!!! Pretty easy to distinguish it from most other Imprezas (with that wing).

I have to say, it seemd funny/odd to actually pass it....KNOWING it could pretty much DUST anything else on the road....must have breaking it in gently ;-)

STi Owners : you are some FORTUNATE BASTARDS!!!!!

....and I mean BASTARDS in a GOOD way... ;-)

twas BLUE....
saw it on I25 N near the Tech Center...

not much more detail to give.... except that like I said before..it was VERY recognizable with the big wing.... and I did see STi badges/decals to make sure it WAS an actual STi and not an imposter....

not much more to tell really... just thought I'd share my first "official public sighting"....

I saw a silver one with silver wheels on Tuesday afternoon in C-Springs. Personally, I think WR-Blue with gold rims is the only way to go, but the car's badass either way.

I saw one driving the other way on Parker Rd. on Thursday. It is indeed very easy to spot, considering the time of day and constant traffic on Parker Rd.. It was WR Blue with the gold rims

I saw another one, not sure if it was the same blue one as before, parked along a Broadway strip mall on Friday-it definitely catches anyone's eye. Also, yesterday I saw one on the E-470 and I-70 junction. It was white. From the corner of my eye it resembled a GC8 Impreza 2.5RS with a STi spoiler.
Almost like the Imprezas haven't evolved too far from the GC8 body design-as the current style is reminiscent of that and a Legacy, in my opinion.

I was in Edina/Minnetonka Minnesota for all of last week and i saw 2 sti's, both WR blue with gold wheels, different drivers and 2 Mitsubishi EVO Vlll. Also, in three days, i got a speeding ticket going 85 in a 65 in Nebraska and somebody in Minnesota hit me and messed up the rear bumper. The ticket could have been worse because i was going a lot faster just before that. Man, a 2.2L turbo can get you in a lot of trouble. Good thing out of state tickets don't count on insurance. Back to the point, my favorate color on an STi is black with black wheels. They are all sweet, I would take any color combo.

Here is a shot of my STi at the summit of loveland pass last weekend. Nothing like taking hairpin turns at 30mph and wondering how fast you could really take them!!

I saw a white one in Longmont off of 9th ave last night around 11:45 or so. Bad ass car!! I wish I could afford to get one!! It's the third one I've seen around the Longmont/Niwot area, the other ones were blue and silver. I felt so inferior in my Legacy :(
