Imprezer 12-10-2002, 12:29 AM It locks the subframe. I thought about doing it and decieded against it. In case I smack into a curb, in stock form the rear subframe will shift. If you "lock" it, your frame will get tweaked. Best thing to do is to get STi or CUSCO frame bushings. Same effect as "lockin" it, but it will still slide in case of an accident. - Alex N/ABeast 12-10-2002, 09:01 AM Has anyone had this problem? I wonder why Subaru put the holes there to begin with? N/ABeast 12-10-2002, 09:33 AM Well, I just got mine delivered, went outside to put them in and my subframe is a little off, so I have to loosen up the four bolts as soon as my ass thaws from my first attempt at putting them in. bemani 12-10-2002, 06:29 PM Originally posted by Imprezer Best thing to do is to get STi or CUSCO frame bushings. N/ABeast 12-11-2002, 11:35 PM Well, Still havent put them on yet, has anyone had problems with these? N/ABeast 12-12-2002, 10:41 AM Well, I have them in, but they wouldn't tighten all the way down.. It seems like theirs no driveline lash now, the car tracks alot easier, and there is really no NVH increase. aspera 01-14-2003, 03:01 AM Originally posted by Imprezer It locks the subframe.
