Hello I-club. It's good to finally find a proper forum for my car! I searched far and wide and could only come up with STi or WRX Impreza forums. The only 2.5RS forum was dedicated to the older GC chassis and I found no comraderie there. I had a friend tell me about I-club and I was hooked from the start.

I guess I should tell you some about me and my Subaru. My name's Zak. I'm from Weatherford, Oklahoma and I own a silver 2005 2.5RS Impreza. Essentially it's a N/A WRX. I picked it up for a steal from a used car lot, so it's not perfect. I has an automatic transmission (shudder) and that's the only major complaint I have about it.

I've loved Subaru's all my life. I watched McRae in his 22b as much as I could and shunned the Speed channel the day they cut WRC from their lineup. I now look forward to anyhthing Ken Block or Travis Pastrana does, as it's usually insane and involves the "stars of pleiades."

I've only had the car since April of this year when my Buick went kaput (Thank god for that, hehe...) so I've only done a few mods. I de-ambered the headlights using the oven technique, I've installed under-dash lighting, and I've repaired and replaced a lot of parts that were incorrectly put on by the previous owner. I found that it has been in at least one wreck, but the damage isn't bad. The exterior was near flawless, minus some clearcoat issues on the hood and a keyed passenger side.

I absolutely love this car and even in it's stock form is a complete head turner where I live. Thanks guys for reading through this and I hope I can contribute/learn more about Subarus and the fanatics that drive them.
