Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Overall, the HKS turbines are much better. Their design and technologies used are mind blowing. Plus, there are lots of diff variations of them.

However, there are no off the shelf kits available.

The T67 is nice. I was stupid enough to get a kit with the 10cm^2 exhaust housing and it sure does lag. The WOW factor is great and thats why I felt like there is no lag. There is lag. The turbo is the size of your head.

The T67 kit is complete and only requires you to have a GReddy FMIC and GReddy intake kit, otherwise you might need to do some custom fabrication.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

You couldn't pick 2 tubros further apart from one another!!!

GReddy has a 20G and 25G turbo kit (the latter being the T67) i Japan that is easy to get. HKS does a kit for early WRX's, but we have yet to try it on a GDA chassis. Both kits comes with just about everything you need.

You'll need a front mount (and a fairly big one at that), 800cc injectors for the T67 to coax everything out of it, STi units should be ok for the 2835 at lower boost levels, but I would personally do the PE650cc units...and there is no way an E-Manage is going to hack it when tuning it all..you'll definately need something more programmable and consistent than a piggyback...there are loads of options from Utech, Electromotive, Ecutek, Haltech, LINK, etc., etc. etc.

How cute. Cute "little" turbo.

Now this is "big".

Haha, I know.

I would love to get a nice HKS turbine.

I was just pointing out that your turbo is NOT that big.

I got a smaller exhaust housing already for it, and I am working on a bigger motor. Lag? What lag?

Good setup, man.

P.S. Bucket-size turbo people unite!

I'm also working on a larger motor and a much larger HKS GT turbo. The 2835R is rated by HKS to support 420ps, but it is a know fact that HKS rates there GT turbines a bit conservitive.
As far as size goes the HKS GT turbos are always going to to be a bit smaller compared to GReddys Misu. turbos , because of there
efficiency to make hp and the latest technology in turbo design.
