You have a busines, you are in. Later on, we'll see. - Alex scottm1978 11-21-2002, 07:58 PM I do think we need something just so we feel safe buying from people. I also see nothing wrong with a small fee. This stuff is not cheap and it is a way to pay for the site and keep it in good working order. I woulds set the fee up on some kind of sales volume so the big vendors pay more and the small guys pay less. I realize this was part of what brought i-club down but since this is a one man show it should be fine. I mean who cares if you make a profit, I actually hope you do cause i know my time is worth something and you are providing us with a service and using your time to do this. arthur 11-21-2002, 08:06 PM Originally posted by Alex Not really. We can take cues from james(rs25.com) and the accordv6.com site as examples. They ensure that you do have a legitimate business by collecting numerous info like: business licenses, reseller licenses, permanent addresess and such. Me as a buyer will feel more comfortable if i knew that a person is a vendor for a reason and is legitimate. Also, the issue on fees: small traffic vendors = smaller fees. bigger selling vendors ... larger fees. something graduated would work rather than one flat fee. Alex, you will straighten things out .... i know it. it will just take some time(obviously not overnight) :) Thanks! ->arthur WRX 11-23-2002, 06:27 AM Alex...I sent u an email but u havent replied. When u have time, pls do! Anyway, I have access to a lot of stuff at really great prices and would like to be able to pass it on to ICLUB members. Thing is, I know I'm gonna be a low low volume seller if I started this business and I'm wondering if the fee structure would make it not worth my time. So, ALEX...pleeeease, when/if u read this....give me some info!!! |
