March's Photography Assignments: "Green" and/or "Song Title"
Please be sure to read the rules before posting your contributions! Muchos gracias
Ok, this month's themes are pretty straight forward, so have at it!
March's Theme #1: Green
This doesn't have to contain the color green, since "green" means so many different things (envy, money, eco-friendly).
March's Theme #2: Song Title
A photograph portraying a song title.
Rules:
Ending Date: March 31st
This isn't a competition, just a themed assignment for those who wish to participate. The only reason there is a due date is to keep the thread from going on and on. Feel free to PM me with options for other themes.
Constructive Criticism
The point of limiting criticism to Constructive Criticism to to keep people from just going "wow, your photo sucks" without offering a means for improvement. You could go "The composition just isn't doing it for me, maybe try moving the subjects face to the left a few inches." It would also nice and helps people receive CC better if you balance a negative with a positive such as "Well the lighting is nice, but the composition just isn't doing it for me, maybe try moving the subjects face to the left a few inches." or "I like the composition overall, but the busy background distracts me from the subject's face.'

- If possible please post all the photo info such as lens, f/ stop, shutter speed, etc.
- All photos are open to C&C unless otherwise noted by poster

Sweet! Great topics as usual Matt!!
I can't decide if I want to chose a song title or go take pics and let the song title come to me...not sure
@Matt - Sidenote: I was in Monterey all day pretty much. I sent you a text to see if you wanted to snag that pic but I guess now. Let me know if you still want to do that.

this month seems to have flopped!
Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb"

Camera: Sony DSLR-A700
Exposure: 0.02 sec (1/50)
Aperture: f/11.0
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 6400
Exposure Bias: -1/2 EV
Converted the B/W and bumped up the contrast to the max with the camera settings. Did a little bit of enhancements to the blacks in post.

^^ Great pic Roo!!
Well my "Green" picture is something that is not quite eco-friendly....
Left at Fort Ord in Marina, this refrigerator (which was also green, ask Matt) had nothing else to do but hold a rotting soda box (a 7-Up Box which was also green ironically enough)...

This is the raw image developed directly from the negative. No editing.
Camera: Minolta SRT 201 35mm
Film: Kodak BW400CN
Lens: MC Rokkor-X PG 50mm
ISO/Film Speed: 300
Exposure: 500
F/2.8
@ Matt - I went back to take a few more pics of the fridge.
This isnt one from the first batch that we took. They lost my film when I took it to be developed so I went to take more to replace the lost ones. I was a sad/ticked off panda but I really wanted to use this fridge....
