FS (CA) - 1999 2.5RS, WRX Transplant with Goodies Track Car ($3000)
Howdy Folks,
I haven't been on here in a while ... I tried to sell this car over a year ago and never followed up on it. Since then, I moved twice, changed jobs twice and had another kid. I'm finally able to get my head around things and will be unloading this car this year (selling it or donating it to charity).
Car will be sold as is (clean title). Registration has expired (March 2008) and will be up to the new owner to register it. This was a track car for me and the last time I drove it was at Thunderhill (over 18 months ago). This car is faster than my Vishnu Stage 2 WRX and my Vishnu Stage 1+ Evo.
So the first $3000 offer that goes through, its yours. Not really interested in shipping it anywhere, so you'll have to pick it up. And you only have until Dec 29th. Otherwise it gets donated so I can collect the tax deduction for 2008.

I don't wanna burst your bubble, but car donation has changed significantly in the last few years.
In short, you can only deduct what the car actually sells for at auction, which most likely will be only a few hundred dollars.
Call a couple of charities and ask for details.

Paul - thanks for the heads up I appreciate it.
Zamorajoel - not interested in parting it out. My life is just way to busy now. For anyone with kids, you'd understand ... simplicity and sleep is all I want now.
When I did get to drive the car on the track (did it twice with its current config), I loved it. It also scared me a bit ... this car is a lot lighter than my WRX or EVO and I did go into corners a bit hotter than usual.
