Full 3 in. Blitz Nur spec r exhaust.... W/ SILENCER
oil- Mobil-1 5w-30
Just replaced the factory turbo after having a complete no boost... no spool situation. And then today I notice the same. Just no boost or spool whatsoever Anyone have any idea why my car seems to destroy turbos.... oh and the last one that died had oil all in the cold side.... yet none in the intercooler. So help would be much appreciated. I am also thinking it may be excessive back pressure due to the silencer in the exhaust. Thats the only thing in common with both. And when I think about it they both died within the same length of time while running with the silencer in. So has anyone any Ideas or is the silencer the culprit?

sounds like u keep getting bad turbos...
u if the turbo that u replace the original one with, if it was absolutely brand new, u should not run synthetic through it.

Have you done a compression check? Reason I ask is, if you're getting oil all over the cold side of the turbo you might wanna check the turbo inlet/pcv. I'm thinking excessive blow-by could potentially push SOME oil through the pcv system but I doubt it would push a lot through. Just a thought.
Something else that came to mind, when you talk about killing your turbo, is your stock UP. Replacing it with a catless UP or gutting the stocker is something a lot of people suggest as a first mod and as insurance that the cat in your UP doesn't end up breaking apart and killing your turbo. The more power mods you have the higher the likelihood the cat in the stock UP has of throwing chunks at your turbo.
