Visiting in December questions.

Wassup my fellow subaru owners, i am planning to visit Oahu in December and was wondering about the weather during that time, should i hold off or is it like what i've been reading online, rains for about 1 hour then it clears up or rains for a few weeks non stop? Thanks in advance for all your inputs.

Come in December..the weather is not going to be horrible. You may have a few cloudy or rainy days, but its nothing like the Pacific Northwest at all.

Haha, don't let Mike scare you off. Anywhere you go during that time, the weather is a little unpredictable. While the chances for rain in December is higher, Hawaii is beautiful all the time! Hit us up when you roll in, since we have meets every Friday. Or if you do decide to check us out, pm me and I can make some recommendations on places to go and places to eat.

Hot Import Nights will be on Oahu, December 5th @ the Neal Blaisdell Center 5p.m. - Midnight. Weather shouldn't matter since it's mostly indoors... Good opportunity to check out the "tuner" scene here in the 808 state.

Anyone remember when it rained 7 weeks straight. I hope that dosent happen again. The rain flooded so bad that it cracked underground pipes and Mufi decided to pump all the sewage into the ala wai.

I remember that, it also took out a chunk of "round top drive", the road was shut down for over a year.

You guys are scaring him away. Nah, it's all good. But yeah, like I was saying earlier, we get some December days with 0 rain. And then there's times when it rains for an hour and the sun comes right back out. And then there's DAYS of rain. It all depends. But I'm pretty sure your choice of vacation isn't soley based on that right?

Bah! There's no such thing as a "rainy season" in Hawaii.......

......Because it rains EVERYDAY where I live.

well i usually go to Hawaii in march-august range and it was always nice weather, but since i didn't get to take a vacation yet this year i won't have time till December and i want to see my options out there on where to go, i usually don't travel much during December, this time i would be going with my gf's younger sister and her bf since they haven't been to Hawaii yet, i would love to take them snorkeling, whale watch, go to the beach to see the turtles, and everything but mostly would require sun and minimal rain, but if it's going to be raining i would most likely go to Vegas or somewhere else but Hawaii is my #1 choice.
