I didn't know how to gauge how many people would be interested in playing in this league so I put a limit to 12 players.

i'm not sure if people want to put a little wager down or anything (giftcards etc)..

this is a Point System league.. meaning for the 17 weeks of regular season games you will be tallied points based on who you start. At week 17 the person with the most points wins. Playoffs are not counted.

There will be a LIVE draft also conducted on August 31 Sunday at 4:30pm for all members registered by that time.

so it seems there was some confusion and I am STILL really not certain as to who is really playing in this league (as i thought walter [dub81] was playing)

for the sake of not being able (and not knowing who) to collect money from and also for the fact that we also have an out of state player.. this will be a "play for fun" game..

In one of my other leagues a dude traded LT to me for Larry Johnson and Greg Jennings. Had to laugh about that one as I clicked accept.

 

need suggestions on if we should have a small prize..

example: everybody chips in 5 dollars for a giftcard (walmart/Macys/gamestop etc)
T-shirt? Clothing?

leaving it as a friendly fun game of FFootball is also an option it's no big deal.. chime in

 

$5 is do-able.

we should do a live draft... hahahaha... bbq, beer and such. I dun think Blake can attend tho.

I dread football season.

 

Biakabatuka was a stud on Madden one year...I just remember one of my stupid friends in College getting like 20 catches a game with him.

Oh and living in a city that has a NFL team is not so great when that team chooses to underperform and/or go around commiting crimes.

 

i dunno blake.. i saw an interview with Marvin Lewis on sportscenter where he said the Bengals were gonna be spectacular this year and that Chad Johnson is a dream to work with this season.. he pulled a total 180..

at least i TRIED to believe it..

I play it and I really like it...hell I don't even like baseball. Basic understanding is that you are the GM of the team and control everything worth controlling. Check it out ya'll because the first season is free which is what I took advantage of.
