Where are the best locations to place the senders? (and maybe pics or diagram of location on motor). Also will the sender for the temp require any sort of adapter? Any info or links to info would be much appreciated.

I've heard mostly bad about sammich plates cuz they leak and iirc don't allow for the most accurate reading. Can I replace the sender located by the "EJ20" stamp on the block (behind the alternator) with my prosport sender or will taking that out set off my idiot light? Flatline (eric) said there's another spot under the i c on top of the block (galley plug?). I have a feeling I'm going to have to go find some sort of adapter though to make either location work, lemme know if I'm wrong.
