The Tomei turbo spools fast and holds boost all the way to redline.

On an 07 STI with only injectors, fuel pump, and very conservative tuning, we made right at 300 whp on 91 octane using this turbo. Another shop in LA claims to make 350 whp on WRXs with turbo.

The Tomei products are designed for long-term reliability when used with a stock engine while providing respectable performance improvements.

I suggest that you read the Tomei technical report here for more information.
http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/news/Report-EJ25-V1.html#C3.2

One great thing about Tomei--they really do their R&D well and they make their processes and findings much more public than many other companies.

Happy reading!
