There was a tire gauge taken from my car on the last cruise and I'd like it returned since it wasn't even mine. I had figured the owner had just taken it back, but I was mistaken. The tire gauge is kinda expensive and not easy to replace. I won't ask any questions, I just want it returned. Please. Most of you know my car (2.7L w/scissor doors), that's where I last saw it on the day of the cruise. It was already gone by the time we went to the shrimp stop. I hope that helps somebody's memory...

Damn man,...
Please return to owner,..that's uncool.
Also, you sure you checked all over for it too? Under seats, glove compartment, console, trunk,..in your home? Its the obvious, but Ive misplaced stuff too..
Just to be sure no one gets the blame, but if it was taken and you have no intent to give it back then bachi on you,..

It was loaned to me on the morning of the meet because my tires were low. I put it on the passenger side, but I never used it since the gas station air pump had a gauge. I noticed the gauge was gone when I went to get some parts from my passenger side for somebody who had bought them. That was at the shrimp shack. I just figured the owner had taken it back since I didn't need it anymore. I didn't think about it again until the owner called me a few weeks later asking for the tire gauge and I realized that he wasn't the one who took it out of my car. I don't keep anything in my car (I don't even have a passenger seat!), so it's very difficult to lose anything in it. It will cost about $200 to replace, and that isn't chump change... I'm not looking to blame anybody, I just don't want to take that financial hit.

^^^^Good God!!! Those guages are pricey...I have the "Pen Guage" that the gas station attendents keep in there pockets. $5 good enough for me
I would understand investing in a $200 guage if your always at the track and every .5 - 1 PSI counts.

With shipping and tax it goes over $200...
Thanks for your attention to this.
This is the one my wife and i were using when we were drag racing...
i think i could live with a 1/2% inaccuracy....ROFL!!!! especially for the price...though Rons had it for like 70 bucks when we bought it in the mid 90's

wait wait wait...$200??? I have one I bought for $2 that works perfect. I hope you find it. I also would hope that someone "borrowed' it not realizing the price. And if someone did take it intentionally it has to be someone who knows a lot about tools and stuff since pretty much every one on here that has posted had no idea they could run that high. Also were there other people around the cars that were not part of the cruise? If someone really did steal it knowing the value I really hope it was not an HIICer!

what came of this? do you plan on making this right with the owner if no one comes forward since we're assuming you're friends with the owner? If you take to long to make this right it may affect your friendship
