as the title says I was thinkin about some seats for the car and was wondering if the recaro seats that come stock with the evo 8 would fit? Anyone have experience with this or have seen it?

i had the EVO9 Recaros in my 04 WRX, went great with the car! looked OEM to me, i loved it!

the seats will fit with the correct rails and sliders. I had used Bride superlow rails and sliders for the wrx. You can also try to find Recaro ones which may be easier to fit on the seat. I had bought my set with OEM Evo rails still on them, so i had to disassemble those pieces and bend some other parts that were not necessary and just in the way. I also had to drill a new holes in the sliders to line up with the holes on the seats.

When I go for seats I think I'm going to go for the recaros. Love them in my friend's evo. Great for DD and auto x IMO.

i personally really liked the evo9 recaros for the leather sides and suede middle. but for an 02, the evo8s would match a little better and you can get them for very cheap now a days

^^ true true. Not sure if its true or makes THAT much of a difference. But my friend complained about his leather seats and exchanged them because when he would auto x he would slide around in his seat more than he would cloth.
