FS: 2005 CGM STI, Norcal, $25K
I am the original owner, I bought this car new from Livermore Subaru with 9 miles on it. It has been 100% trouble free and has been a GREAT car. I'm fairly OCD when it comes to maintaining my vehicles.
Reason for selling: looking to lose the payment and cut my insurance in half and put that money towards a house payment. I already have a fun weekend car so I can live with a "boring" daily driver.
Details:
37XXX miles
Oil changes with Mobil-1 every 4K miles
All maintenance up to date (performed by me), 30K service done with all fresh fluids (power steering, coolant, clutch, brake fluid, transmission, rear diff.) Coolant & rear diff fluid were Subaru OEM.
Fresh (<2K miles) RE-01R tires, 245/45/17. I got 34K miles out of the original RE070's.
I have a maintenance log with everything I've done.
Car has always washed & waxed with Zaino.
It's always been filled with Chevron 91 since day 1.
No curb rash on any wheels.
Has never been driven in any weather condition more inclement than rain.
Always garaged at night and if it's not raining or really windy it's covered with a Weathershield car cover at work (cover included.)
Mods:
Currently wingless but I also have the original trunk with STI wing.
Borla Hush exhaust, I have both the ball & socket adapter and a 3" flat flange, Kartboy hangers.
Catless Invidia downpipe, coated by Crucial
Cobb AccessPort (V1) Stage 2 with out of the box program
Autometer gauge pod with VDO oil temp & boost gauges
I have the original downpipe & exhaust.
Stereo:
RAAM audio fiberglass underseat sub enclosure with an Arc Audio ARC series 10D2 sub
RAAMmat and ensolite foam in all doors & package tray
Front speakers are Diamond Hex S600S
Rear speakers are 4" MB Quart components
Lighting Audio carbon capacitor under driver's seat
Oldschool Soundstream Rubicon 702 for front components
Soundstream Rubicon 302 for rear components
Soundstream Rubicon 302 for sub
Eclipse CD8443 head unit with 8V preouts
Stinger "Expert" interconnects
All power wires covered in mil-spec braided polyethylene sleeving. Install was done completely by me.
Bad points...
The nose & hood have some slight rock chips, but none are down to bare metal. It's my daily driver after all and you can't avoid them all.
There is one small rock ding in the hood that is located near the front edge of the hood. My dentpro guy could not reach inside because the hood is double walled there. The dry ice trick may work but I haven't tried.
The passenger front door is from another car, also CGM. Someone keyed the original door on Christmas eve in front of my grandmother's house so hard they creased the sheetmetal-- they also got my Aunt's brand new Acura TL parked right in front of me.
They only keyed the door oddly enough, no other damage was done. The new door matches great but it had a couple dings from the previous owner; my dent remover friend took them out but there is still very slight evidence of the work, one of the dings was pretty sharp and it left a mark in the paint, but you have to get right up next to it to notice anything is amiss. I still have the original door.
Note: the PS front door and the hood are the only panels that have ever needed paintless dent work. The rest of the panels are untouched without any dings.
It will probably need fresh front brake pads and the rotors surfaced in what I estimate to be 8K miles based on my current driving habits.
Price
Asking $24.5K with all the mods, stereo, stock parts included.
$24K with stereo left in but drivetrain back to stock
$23.5K with the mods left but the stock stereo & speakers reinstalled
$23K completely back to stock.
PM me if interested.
Thanks,
Troy

I have a sale pending right now at the full asking price for the car as-is, but the buyer might not want the original trunk & STI wing, and if the first buyer falls out the 2nd buyer in line also wants the wingless trunk.
