I saw a thread on IWSTI about a local bay area vendor who is selling a ton of S204 style front lips for 06/07 (probably 04/05 also) with great fitment on ebay. I couldn't resist at the $140 pick-up price so i picked it up, painted, and installed it today :) Anyway, so why am i posting about this?

I talked to the owner Simon and he said that if anyone wants to do a group-buy, he is willing to drop the price LOWER than $140 if so. I don't know about you but... <$140 for a good fitment polyurethane front lip is a deal.

I had no affiliations with him before today and am informing the community about some cheap replica front lips.

I'm not sure if its okay to post their company info on here but here goes..

i got the same lip there last week. they been around for a while....but nice guys, good price, good fitment and best thing is that they are local, so if stuff dont fit, you can bring it back no hassle.

I just sanded with 600 grit and used 3 coats of some flat black enamel paint. I'm not too sure how well this paint will last but hopefully long!

I drilled 3 in the front and 2 on the sides + the 4 clips that is already on the car. The lip came with hardware but I only used the 4 clips and 4 self tapping screws that came with. Found another 2 laying around and used that. Overall, it was pretty easy and self explanatory install.

I bought that same lip from the same guys, happy with it.

I used the plastic push plugs that are already in the bottom of the bumper connection to the undertray to do the initial lineup. Then I drilled pilot holes in the bumper bottom edge where the mounting holes on the s204 lip is. Then ran the screws that came with the lip up through those holes.

I scrape a lil bit almost every day coming out of my parking lot @ work, but the lip is on there good @ solid still without tape. If for some reason the screws got ripped out, I could still re-fit the lip using the right size plastic push plugs.

they do come with all mounting hardware (6-8 bolts/nuts/washers, 4 screws, and i believe 4 or so extra pop-in plugs that you already have under your car

I'm down to buy an 04/05 one for around $100. Their $120-125 shipped on ebay, do we need another group buy for 04-05's? Or can we just join with the 06-07 Lips. Let me know as I was about to buy one.

I got the same one for my car. I sanded it down and repainted it with some stronger paint. The original paint faded in different spots pretty badly. I like the look +1.

They also have the chargespeed style. The two slides fold upward.

Nice car... not to offend but I think lips and mudflaps to not go together. One is for track and one is for dirt; two opposing set ups.

all good, im high enough to clear some dirty roads ;D plus it protects cars behind me from flying projectiles that my tires kick up....wish everyone had mudflaps/mudguards

looks good with both lip and flaps. since i don't go on dirt, my flaps are just to keep the sides clean stuff i run over. man, i can't wait to get my lip on but i think i'll have to raise my car up so i can get in and out of my garage. :)

^^true i cant imagine how much id scrape if i was still on my cobb springs. now im running on swifts spring, it raises the car while having better performance feel, and barely any scrapage on the lip

Install took about 45mins, very easy-going. I used 3 of the self-tapping screws to have it on where I wanted it then went to down with the bolts.

The classics are nice, SUPER hard though, when you go over speedbumps and catch it, you'll feel and hear it. But since you go through mud and stuff, that'd be good. The basics would probably just bend at the edges like mine are now.

Are you talking about transporting the lip in the car? My trunk has a sub + amp in it and all i did was bend the lip in half for the 10 minute ride home. When i took it out, it just went back to the original shape :)

Thanks to Jon for letting us know about the group buy. It was a little work getting stuff together but I thought it'd be a good idea since a lot of us want a lip at a discounted price.
