Does anyone else think it would be awesome to the nth power if Subaru redid the grill with the same style as the previous models (up to 2005) (i.e., recessed, straight up & down, larger honeycomb design)?

Older grill style > 08 STI grill > 08 Sport Mesh Grill == Stock Grill

I dunno, but the sport mesh isn't doing it for me. It looks way too superficial. And the center plastic bar on the inside looks heinous.

To the owners of these subies -- sorry for picture-jacking but I'm too lazy to scour the web.

i do like the older style better, but i do like my grill, the DGM 08 pic above, better than the other grill option alot better. just IMO

I dunno, black plastic with bigger holes looks worlds better to me. The sport grill looks like someone just threw some cheap, flexible mesh on there and spray painted it.

I don't think theres too big of a Subie community down in the pan handle... I generally see only one a Subaru month, if that. I picked one of like 7 WRXes.
