I am about to buy a new ECU, the person I am working with thinks the Link ECU is the one to go with. He knows how to map with that one, and has a lotof maps made for it already. I heard this was to place ask tech questions was I wanted to know what you guys (and girls) think.
ThankS for the help

It depends on how you intend to mod your car. If you're keeping it relatively stock, I've heard good things about the Ecutek reflashing.
Otherwise, it might be a good idea to go with what a local tuner is familiar with. You can have the latest wiz bang ECU but if you don't have somebody to tune it properly, it's not going to do you much good.

why you going with a complete ecu swap!?
please tell us what components you plan on putting in your car. Be realistic, and then we can guide you to a reasonable resource.

I plan on uping the fuel system (MRT fuel rail, Pres. Reg., 565cc, HKS fuel Cut, and bigger fuel pump), a new Radiator, Boost col., Knock Block, front mount, bigger turbo. I don't plan on going high then 400 whp, if even that high. Maybe some time down the road getting into the engine, not too much down this plan, so don't know yet.
ThankS a lot for the help.

What would you reccomend for the following:
[1]Blitz SBCi-D
[2]Blitz sus intake
[3]HKS dp
[4]HKS carbon/ti catback
[5]PDE up
Thinking about getting an ION upgrade or another turbo along the the lines of hp out put. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

WickedRydaX - your desire to obatin 400whp or anywhere near it, already tells us that you should be looking at a complete ECM, like a link, motec, tec series.
However, the componets you have listed indicate that 400whp is a bit unrealistic.
Be aware that as you creep over ~340whp (that's a rough estimate), street drivability becomes an issue.
push2 - Ecutek (Flashes the stock ecu. you cannot adjust it yourself), Utec (a iggyback and you can do a little tuning by yourself), Link (standalone ECM, you do all the tuning yourself). Of course you can pay someone to do all the tuning for you.
So, it depends on how much control you personally want over your ecm. If you do not want to worry about any of that tuning mumbo jumbo then let the Ecutek do it's magic. The stock computer can tune itself very well:)
If you are a little more anal and want to risk/play with more buttons then go to the opposite spectrum and get a link.

ThankS for your help The link is the one I was thinking about the most, because the guy I know and all his maps. Also thankS for the heads up about the power I may have to still closer to 300 till I get another car that I can use as a daliy driver.
ThankS again for your time and Help
