The accessport Ver2 came in two models (2.0L and 2.5L) The Ver1 came in ALOT of models because each accessport was very specific(Auto or 5speed or 6speed , WRX or STi , and year)

If it was a Ver2 accessport, yes it would fit. Because the Ver2 is compatible with all subaru 2.5L engines 04-07.....But Ver1 are year specific, so no, this accessport will not work on your 04 STi, only 05 STi.
