Yeah, I had actually turned them that way to park it there. I'm still a n00b in posing cars for pics. :)
You can see the rims a bit better here:

It's great so far! I'm not a great driver or anything, but I'd have to say it doesn't have the hard ride feeling from the previous STi's. To me, that's not really a bad thing. It has a solid feel on the road, especially in turning, but I can see it's slightly softer than before (compared to the ones I've been in). I haven't owned an STi previously so I can't compare them with much experience, just from some I've driven a bit.
It still has gobs of power, but there's a definite lag if you haven't been in the right range before. It also seems to not smoothly give you the power. I expect a tune I'll get soon is gonna help with both of those issues, and help the car work better on 91 octane gas here in california. :(

I'll check out some of the meets.
It's tons of fun to drive in the hills. I haven't been able to go really hard in the hills yet since it's still being broken in, though. (While I'm not being nice to the engine so much, I have to let the other parts get worn in a bit :) :)

It was about $40k (I got the wheels & nav system), about $45k off the lot including taxes, fees, options, etc. Right now, there's not a lot of play with the dealers so you're gonna pay MSRP, more or less. I'd think in 6-9 months you could get some deals for a bit cheaper.

I can see ya in the reflection of the bumper in the first pic. :)
Nice ride. That is the color I am thinking of getting, if I decide to get one. I am still torn between the STI or the Legacy 2.5 GT Spec B.
I like the utility of the hatch and the power that the STI has, but on the same token, I like the subtle "I am a kid at heart, but with a grown-up attitude" that the Legacy possess.
AHH ! Choices! Why must it be so hard??

That'll be a tough choice! Can't go wrong with the STI tho :)

***, STi's were going for like $30 OTD in 04, $32 OTD in 05, $35 OTD in 06-07... and $45 OTD in 08..... that's ***ing crazy.

for $45 you could buy an 08 wrx + an 04-05 STi!
but your 08 is still absolutely SICK!!!

sweet car

The 45k includes everything, bbs+nav, taxes, fees, all options. The price for the car itself including accessories was $40k or so. Without the wheels and nav system you could get one for like $36-37k, which is more than before but not insanely more. :)

They stopped putting STI on the tmics this year. You can add it though.
Nice car though again.

not balling enough to get that, and they should still put the sti logo on the intercooler atleast lol makes it much nicer looking in the engine bay.
