What is it about the white one you dont like? He is in the beginning stages of modding and is open to suggestions for future mods...any ideas?

+1 i think for that bumper he also needs to run a fmic, and he should get some nice low offset rims i think with those it may start to look better

i dont like the 2 tone on the white one. It would look way better all white.

The two tone looks weird. Tell him to paint it back to all white. The thing in the void area of the bumper looks funny, too. Front end of the body kit looks funny. Seriously, it doesn't even look like a Subaru anymore. Rear is okay. Tell him to get a giant fart can. Will do justice for the rear.

I think the entire thing looks like it was slapped together with body pieces from other cars. I dunno, I can't stomach it :|. Oh, and btw I HATE YOUR WHEELS!

ugh funny because they both have the same front bumper... and yet you chose the more stocker one wiht ugly rims instead of a full authentic ings kit

I'll have to disagree with your comment. However, a FMIC would make it look nicer. But still, ditch the body kit. Also... the gap between the pignose and the hood. U-G-L-Y!!

yeah that body kit has to go, along with the two-tone ish.

The ripple in the large hole on the INGs bumpers is the USDM bumper beam pushing the bumper so that it bows. The JDM bumper beam is much smaller and fits these front ends. We didnt want to remove them nor purchase the JDM bumper beams.

yea im with dark, the two tone looks funny. To me, the sti is already a great looking car so exterior mods to me should be subtle like rims (not that subtle but an upgrade over stock) and a few things here and there. I would get rid of the body kit and repaint the car all white. Not sure what kind of performance mods he has on the sti but i would do more on performance.

Thanks the datsun was fun to roll with the Js Gathering in SF this weekend. The skyline engine roars like a mo fo. He has straight three inch exhaust sounds like a turbo diesel.....blaaaaaaaa ssssssssssssss pow! (flames) lol.

Did you expect every single person who saw your pictures to like your ride?

You could have the most awesome ride in the world, but there will always be someone who doesn't like it (I hate the 08 STi and the new Skyline myself).

You have to take the good with the bad. If you're happy with your ride then that is all that really matters.

first off, i didnt read of anyone bashing on your car at all. people were only giving their personal opinions on it. dont take it so personally. I would rather see it with just the roof painted, IMO that would look better than how it is now. I personally am the kind of person who would much rather build a sleeper than a show car so i dont really feel the car myself.

and with what obviously looks like is going to be a show car, the opinions on modding rely soley on the exterior of the car. you cant help but get people who will not like something you do. but to bring it all home, its your car so do what you want just dont except EVERYONE to like it just because you post pics of it.

Big Mike, dont take things personel MENG!! Its your ride with your cash being spent and when it comes down to it, Your own preference only matters.. Everyone else is only giving their own opinions and not bashing..Trust me, everyone hear has excellent taste when it comes to modding their subie's. Its only bashing if they called your ride "rice" for example IMO.. So dont take it personel and just do your thang!!
