xmas: gifts for the car for less than 150!
My gf and I were talking about gift ideas for xmas and I couldn't come up with anything and wanted to ask you guys for some help!
I know it isn't much but her and I are in college and are on a budget so I've only got 150 ish to spend. Can be exterior/interior, performance, etc. Anything.
What I have on my 2002 wrx thus far.
Catback
Front strut tower
Spt intake
Keep in mind that I'm thinking about doing auto x soon so anything for that may help as well!

sway bars
end links
goodridge stainless lines
rear strut tower bar
light weight battery like a Odessy PC680
fender braces
catless downpipe
walbro fuel pump for future power mods (thats what I'm getting)
hope that kinda helps...always could just go to a random vendor's website of your choosing and see whats available for your car then sort by pricing

Sounds like all good ideas! Just curious but if I don't upgrade the sway bars are better endlinks going to do anything for me? And these shifter bushings and steering bushings...hard to install?

The shifter bushings are pretty easy to do and I've done it myself. Also the steering rack bushings are different on the sti and wrx. Below are a few links to some install how-to's for ya. You have to be a member to see most of the pictures but its free to sign up!

The following mods use nothing more than a ratchet, some sockets, and maybe a wrench for the most part so it's fairly easy!

+1 to a lot of these. Anything that will improve suspension and the interface between the driver and the car will help you in autoX (SS brake lines, shifter bushing, steering rack bushing). IMO strut tower braces on a sedan are for the bling factor and won't make as much of a difference as a good set of sway-bars and endlinks.
Dunno if already listed but the rear diff lock bolts are around $40 most places and helps with the rear suspension.
