Looks like the race is scheduled for 3:40pm on Sunday. May turn out to be earlier as 3:40 is getting pretty late in the day.

I know you'll do just fine... it's not going to rain this year like it did last year...

remember that? 38 seconds ( i think ) ahead of 2nd place!!!

Team SMR hit a few snags today at the track. When Gary went out for the first qualifying session in the late afternoon, he was off the pace and reported that the car was down on power and the handling was, well, as he put it "dangerous".

The crew thrashed until 11:00 pm Saturday night changing the knock sensor which entails removing the top half of the engine. Changes were also made to the rear suspension so hopefully tomorrow we will see the kind of result that the car and Gary are capable of.

I was worried about Joel and Gary going nuts with the suspension... Ill see what they are up to.

No, it was gary vs. one BMW, the rest of the field couldnt keep up.
