Once this meet is done then woodward can start a new blank one with a link to a thread for pictures and discussion about the meet.

when ryan put up the post he said please do not reply yet im not done with it.. then all the sudden one day that line was gone! .. and look at the turlock meet thread its sticky and it has like 20 pages.. All a sticky is there for is so its always at the top..

well my meet today was really fun even though only two people showed...u know who u are.. but anyways.. we decided we were gunna drive to sac instead of up the hill

well we took highway until we got on 80.. we tookthat until we hit Watts ave... then stayed on that for a while. we then decided to take 50 up to hazel ave and got to roundtable for lunch.. the one on hazel and madison corner

then brandon(red wrx) showed up so there were four of us in the end

Justin and damien took 99 back to modesto/turlock.. i took 49 cause my friend that was wit me had to get back to angels camp!

but thanks to justins GPS for gettin us lost a couple of times... definately fun though...and thanks to his rental impreza for makin our wrx's look extremely fast! :)

While doing the regular bidaily update, I gave the front page a new look and changed a few things.

Added a Sac Raceway section for Wed. night drags if anyone would like to make a date, hit me up and I'll toss it in there. Also added were SubieFest '08 and the summer X games down in LA.

I will be attending Subiefest and hopefully bringing down a bunch of people from up here to cruise along with the Flat4 guys!

I'm not sure abt SubieFest but I'm down for the Summer Xgames.

i keep getting different info from different ppl. im getting it from ppz that have been working on cars for a while. they tell me its ok if u run a dp wit no acport and then they tell me no cause u can blow a cylinder or something..:confused: :confused: :confused:

I wouldnt run an aftermarket dp without some form of EM. I dont think you'll blow a cylinder. Most power we make is all in the EM tuning so there's no real plus. Just save up, it'll be worth it.

i wouldnt chance anything on the 08... just wait on it... you'll feel better afterwards.

Treat your tranny very well, dont pop the clutch and dump all the shock load on your gears. Better off sliping your clutch more then poping it out.

Clutch is much cheaper to replace than a gear set. I found that out the first time i blew my clutch out, then I went with a slightly better gear-set, and still got rid of my stock oem transmission since it was in perfect working order :)

Well I thought i messed it up because I went to the Nascar race a few weeks ago, and sittin in traffic on a steep gravel hill, the clutch got hott and started smokin out the hood scoop. And then started to chatter like i warped the flywheel.
All the FWD Cars were strugglin to not roll back into anyone not havin any traction on the gravel.

But after everything cooled down the chatter went away and stuff. But I know its gotta nice hott spot and its prolly glazed as well.

SO a clutch is in the books for me soon. Prolly just go with something simple like a ACT Street Clutch Kit.

But before that incident I had no problems at all

We should meet @ Woodward park again that place is nice and we can even get a bbq going as well I belive!
