Ok everyone,
I am absolutely down to sport a Subywrex sticker on my car, but in addition to that we now have our own I-club Forum!! When I was close to the bay I always sported the B.A.I.C. sticker -so we've got to do some type of Central Valley I-Club sticker to show our i-club pride right?
CVIC, Central Valley I-Club, etc. What do you think? I'm so stoked about getting our own forum! We've gotta do it : )

bah now that this is official im all about sporting a cvic sticker or whatever and start spreading the word around town (i-club only tho) maybe alex will help us get this chapter off the ground

Please keep in mind that the i-club name and logo are copyrighted. Please send a PM to spt or charlesj when you have a final design and let them approve your plans.

i just spoke to alex and its awaiting approval

so ill keep you all posted

also no sticker design is final so if someone has another idea for a design post it up here and we will start a poll thread if we are approved to have our own regional sticker design

They'll probably go for sale from this site like the general i-club stickers are (due to copyright).

Just talked to Ali and it looks like we have the ok and are getting some help getting our own regional sticker made.

This opposed to having to go out and front the money ourselves for a set of 50 or so and Hope that someone will buy them. its the big effort by those that are on here and were around organizing Subaru owners in this area long before we got our own region.

Those are defiantly the troopers here!

and ill admit the first time i went out to the Turlock meet i expecting to see a couple of subys but was impressed that there was not just a couple, there was ALOT! and most were driving quite a distance for the meet.

Seeing that commitment to the meet was impressive, and now that we have our own regional forum i know that attendance and traffic on the site will rise.

Me putting forth the effort to get us a regional sticker design was the least i could do to help everyone here meet new suby members and spread the word about this awesome site and our local events. AND VENDORS

The grand plan behind the sticker was to give members something to give other suby owners we see and meet around town, and get them on the site, and involved.

Why must it say 209? I don't think thats a good idea, since one of my friends just got his back window smashed in because it said "Nor Cal". Since I always travel out of town/out of the area code, I will not buy one because I like my windows the way they are. Just my opinion and a heads up.

thats true, never thought about that, but there are a lot of haters out there.

Well with a regional sticker it has to say something about our region on it. People will smash windows for anything.

there are hundreds of people with norcal on their rides, one person getting their window smashed shouldnt stop us besides do you know thats why he got it smashed. not trying to be a jerk or anything!

Yes thats why he got it smashed, the sticker was on the top middle of his window. One blow right where the sticker was.

i see it like this... if and when we show up at a bay area meet others will see that we came out from the 209 to rep. and if we end up at a drift event in la other subie heads will see were down from the 209 region showing up...
