I am having an issue where my reverse lights go on while driving and stay on. Anybody have any ideas. I recently installed a TT but I dont know if that has anything to do with it. Any help would be great.

maybe a stupid question, but when hookin up the parking brake wire do u think u could have messed with the Reverse light switch and tapped the wrong wire??

first time I hear it happened on a Subaru, especially WRX:eek: :p
old Russian cars like Ladas had that problem...

in the gearbox there is a "frog" (I don't know what you, American people, call it :D ) that is engaged when you go to reverse and it kicks in the back up lights
so sometimes it james and lights stay on

solution is usually jerk the gearbox from R to 1,2....couple of times, usually helps

that's imho, and might not be the case since I hear it for the first time, but you can give it a try:)

Thanks for the advice everybody, but I am still haveing the problem dont know what the hell its from. I have tried everything I can think of, my wiring was correct I kinda wish I hooked it up wrong so I could have fixed the problem but isht happens. My car is having a bunch of dirrerent problems with my CEL always coming on. I was living in CA for awhile and never had a problem I drove the car back to NY and it was fine a few days after being back in NY the CEL came on and it pops on a few times a week on a 3rd to 4th shift its just weird....

I am having the same problem with my 95' Subaru Impreza L, for no reason i didnt touch the car when i turn it off the rear lights stay on. i have to take out the fuse when i park the car so i wont kill my battery.

nvm i fixed them i had completly forgotten about the parking lights button.
