Pretty low household avg income.

http://www.city-data.com/zips/95828.html

Better, but still not very high for combined household income.

****ing Elk Grove... You'd think with the kinda money these folks REALLY have, they wouldn't be defaulting on mortgages. Maybe little miss barbie slut daughter is running up the credit cards at the mall too often...

Antioch is a decent place to live. Avg combined income is decent for the home values.

Stockton... Well, it's stockton...

I'm seeing a pattern here... Like I've been telling folks, it's only a matter of time before the bay area gets hit with the same situation the valley is in.

Possibly, but because there isn't as much room to build there I doubt they get hit too hard.

Driving through neighborhoods around here (especially the houses behind Bel Air off El Centro) I see a ton of For Sale signs advertising that they are foreclosures. I haven't seen any in my development yet, but definitely the newer ones across the way.

Thanks for sharing all of that Data, I've never seen a source like that where you can compare numbers side-by-side before. Pretty crazy.

I'm actually kinda surprised there is only one Reno zip code on there :p

And its not even a zip code with a bunch of new homes.

that's the entire north valleys area. They've built tons of homes in cold springs, stead and golden valley. I figured those would provide ample opportunity for people to default on their loans. I have to say though that if their on the list I'm surprised the double diamond area isn't on there as well.

It's not about buying a house. It's buying a house and not being able to afford it, whether something bad happened to you or you're a dumb ass and did some crazy loan that you can't afford. Unfortunately, most foreclosures lately are caused by the latter reason.
