My chiropractor is loving me lately as i am in there every few days for him to work on my back since i got a new RS. I used to have a 99 (RIP....) and now have a slightly used 01 and the seats are worse than i remember! What good seats are out there? Does anybody have any reccomendations? I have good wholesale contacts and can get stuff near cost but i have to buy it blind. I am in the SF bay area. HELP!!!!

Hope you get this in time, ebay has two sets of "STi" seats going right now and will sell today @ 7pm (aprox). One has a blue insert and one has a black insert (from an S202). I have these in my RS and they are the best (unless you are a professional racer). Do your back a favor...

I'm suspecting RHD - anyone that can source LHD STi seats given that Germany seems to get the LHD STi?

It is a lot harder to get the LHD seats than the RHD seats. Why? I do not know. But as ravent says, yes those seats are comfortable. The only problem with using the new STI seats on the older chassis is that you will sit too high up in the car. You need to find the GC style seats for your 01.

From what I've experienced with corbeau and Sparco seats, sparco seems to have better build and quality than corbeau. Their CR1 is similar to the torino, but the padding is thinner, and you can feel the bars in the side bolsters. The torino's felt much firmer, and had more padding on the bolsters and back.

But, The corbeaus were a little more than half the price of the Sparcos and came with sliders and brackets...

Oh yeah, Don't get Tenzo R seats... They're crap.

getting in and out with the corbeau's the side bolsters are softer than those of the torinos which i kinda prefer :) they don't dig into your thighs as much !!

and at a price of less than a grand for 2 seats and sliders shipped ;)
it got my vote :)
