Big southbay hill fire yesterday

I'm sure a lot of you saw this. I haven't watched the news yet to find out about it. Anyone know what caused it? Cause these pics don't do it justice this thing was HUGE! Pics were taken from Santa Clara and on 880.

My mom called me and told me about the fire in Mo Hill and how she could see it from the driveway of their house.

I live in downtown SJ and saw the billows of thick white clouds and thought there was a fire near me. Didn't realize that I was seeing the same smoke as my mom. Craaaaazy!

should have seen it last night. I saw it from 17 and thought it was farther north.
Then coming back up 101 around 9 or so I drove by it again. You could see the light from the flames. The smoke was red. It was NUTS. If that fire came over to the 101 side of the hill it would have been a disaster.

Wait, this was the SOUTH BAY, meaning San Jose-ish, or was it in the San Ramon area? Or did the smoke travel all the way to San Ramon from south San Jose?
