Will someone please explain how to remove epoxy-acrilick paint from my ride without killing my clear coat.Some AHOLE from my work was painting and waa laa green overspray.Need to know just incase they try to back out of payn for a detail cheep bastard's ya know.My wagon is steel gray its new so im prayn ill get this crap off with out hurting the paint thanks.

i think are a lot of solutions, but comparing liquid clay to traditional clay... i don't know... I would stick with the traditional clay... :(

in your case, either paint cleaner, rubbing compound, or traditional clay bar would work too...

I'm sure traditional clay would work better, but since I don't know what I'm doing I'll stick to the less effective but less likely to **** something up method

I have the same problem. I already try the clay bar it help just a bit, but still doesn't work that well. :(

have you tried paint cleaner or rubbing compound?

this is after paint cleaner... but it's more for some that ate into the clear...

I used some meguires scratch x swirl remover it works but not sure I want to use it over large area my hood and roof has a fair amount of overspray and this stuf only comes in small tubes.Going to put buffer and wax to it first then maby acid wash herd that works for hard water stains maby ill have some luck with that any opinion on acid wash?

swirl remover basically remove a thin layer off of your clear coat and that is why it works. by waxing the car won't make it any better. you are just adding a layer over it. use clay bar or paint cleaner from meguires.

i am not sure what acid wash is, it sounds pretty bad and I would avoid it....

have you tried ACETONE? i work in a paint shop and we take off alot of overspray wiht it... it will screw up/eat some plastics.... but it will not eat through cured clear coats......

Traditional clay bar isn't that hard to do. Its time consuming, yes...i just claybar'd my whole car hahaha
