Need Help im selling my 04 sti hid's to a friend but he drives a 2004 wrx are the conections the same or do i have to cut and tape to make it work or do i need a wire harness?

i believe you will have to rewire the lights into the wrx. the sti uses a d2r bulb(hid) and the wrx uses an H1 low beam. totally different bulb, different connector too. you will have splice them in unless you can find someone who either makes, or has made, a wire harness

i tryed conecting red wire with red and black with black and nothing hapened for the hid part singnal and high beam are the same the only difrence i saw was the motor conector that adjust the lights hight was just wondering maybe i need a difrent fuse in the fuse box or something?
