This turbo is OIL and WATER cooled. It also comes with an upgraded 19PSI internal wastegate. The hotside is also coated for more efficient thermo dynamics. The 3" inlet with Fatboy wheel allows for a little quicker spool up and slightly more topend. This turbo along with tuning and supporting modifications on my car made a over 420WHP (see dyno sheet) on 93 octane gas. The car was a complete joy to drive with near stock low end driveability but with supercar performance with just a blip of the throttle.

I had the turbo installed and tuned in Jan 07' on my 2006 STI and was turned back to stock in April and then sold the car. So, this turbo was only on my car for 3 months and for approximately 4,000 - 5,000 miles. This was installed and broke in according to deadbolts specifications. I then had the car professionally tuned by Scott Seigel. Nothing was wrong with the turbo or the car. I had a job change which required a larger more civil car.
