but, really, ON THE STREET/public roads, i have noticed no discernible degradation in performance--braking or or acceleration wise when i switched from 17's (shod w/the 225/45's) to either of my 18's.
granted my old 17's were Prodrives and heavy as bricks compared to the 18" TE & LE 37's, but 18's perform just fine on the street if you get a set a relatively close to stock weight.
then again, i drive like a priss nowadays, so i could roll on DUBZ and be fine. besides, 45 series are for wimps. i got 35 series rubberbands for REAL road feel....every bump+crack in em. lol
anyways, sorry for the threadjack....just blowing off steam from a looong week. bump for a nice set of rollers.
btw, nothing at all wrong w/ROTAS....very nice wheels, esp for the price & the street. i'd get a set for some spares + wheel *****, but i already have a real serious shoe fetish and don't need to start an even bigger one in the garage.

the tires on right know are not toyo, they are an all season tread called riken raptors, not the tires I would choose to use in a perfect situation, but the run cheap, they are made by michelin and they are only a month old. I'm actually tring to get the car eaier to maintain so I can sell it.
